~ The global population has grown from 1 billion in 1800 to 7 billion in 2011.So scientist expect that the population will keep growing and it will reach over 10 billion by the end of the century.
~ The human population started to grow intensive after second world war. Before that a lot of people were killed in the war. Also the world became developing very fast from 1960's. The main reason was better conditions of life. Mothers can support more children so the average family had 2 children at least or even more. Every family was working and getting salaries but they could afford most of things to children with it. In the poor countries families are used to have a lot of children because of money status. That children would work and earn money latter, so the number of children in that countries was about 3 and more. Then the medicine developed and people could cure many illnesses that they couldn't before. So that was the reason why they had more children.

Europe : Between 1750 and 1850 the population was about 150 million and then started growing till 1925. In that year population was about 400 million. From 1950 population started growing faster and scientist believe that will be 500 million people till 2050.
USSR: Before 1925 we don't have
information about number of people. In 1925 the population was about 170
million. From that year the population started to grow to beginning of 21st
century and reach 400 million people. Scientist believe that population will be
on same number or little bit less till 2050.
North America : Between 1750 and 1850 the population was quite the same as in Latin America. There was about 80 million of people. From 1850 the population started growing faster and scientist believe that will reach over 200 million till 2050.
Latin America : Till 1925 the population was like in North America. From 1925 started to grow dramatically and scientist believe that will reach about 1000 million till 2050.
Australasia and Africa : In 1750 the population was about 70 million and started to grow gradually till 1950. In that year the number of people was about 275 million. From 1950 started growing dramatically and scientist believe that will reach 2000 million.
Asia : The population in all Asia was about 2000 million till 1925.
1)East - In 1925 the population was about 500 million. Then started to grow dramatically and
scientist believe that will reach 3000 million people till 2050.
2)South - Till 1825 the population was about 800 million of people. Then started to grow dramatically and scientist believe that will reach 2500 million people till 2050.

Why has the population grown ?
1)The first answer is because the families got better and even excellent conditions which makes them able to have more than 2 child. They could work and afford the children primary things
at least (food,house,cloths).
2)The medicine was developed more and people were able to take medicines for every illness.
3)Poor families wanted more children because of money. If they have more children having job, they will earn more money.
4)Better conditions were extended life span. At the end of the 20th century enlarge age was almost double compared to the beginning of the century. People are living an average of 85 years, what was unbelievable before. The maximum life span of man is 110-120 years more than that so far no one lived, but the next generation may raise this limit - scientists
believe.
5)Availability of healthy food and fresh water.
6)Reducing infant mortality.
7)The industry developed a lot so people do not have to do anything because machines and robots have replaced their jobs. So people are keeping their health as much as possible.

Demographic transition model
Stage 1: At the first stage the birth rate and the death rate are more or less the same, which means that the population doesn't increase or decrease at that stage.
Stage 2: At the second stage the death rate decreases because of the development of medicines. This causes a rapid increase of the population.
Stage 3: At this stage the birth rate decreases rapidly, because fewer children were needed at that time. This means that the population increases more slowly than before.
Stage 4: At this stage the birth rates and the death rates are almost equivalent. This means that the world population growth stayed the same at that time.
Stage 5: Anticipations have occurred, that the birth rate will be lower than the death rate, which would lead to a population decrease.

Population Pyramids
This pyramid shows the life expectancy in Africa. There is a medium-sized amount of independent workers who pay taxes and work for the elder and younger people.
In this pyramid there are more workers, which means the country's income of taxes increases, which is good for the country.
This pyramid shows the population in Germany, based in 2012. There are a few children and a lot of workers, which is very good for the county. The problem is that there will be no children in the future which means no workers in the future. This could lead to an extinction of the country.
Life Expectancy
Life expectancy is the expected (in the statistical sense) number of years of life remaining at an age. There are different life expectancies in in every country, depending of your health and
safety.
Humans are living longer than ever, a life-span extension that occurred more rapidly than expected and almost solely from environmental improvements as opposed to genetics. In fact, according to the World Bank, life expectancy across the globe has on average risen by four months every year since 1970 and between 1980 and 1998 the world’s life expectancy increased from 61 to 67 years. 100 years ago you were lucky to live to 50. It will come as no surprise to learn that if you are born into a wealthy, developed country you will generally have a far higher life expectancy than if you were given life in an impoverished, developing one. Babies born today in a developed country could expect to live to the grand old age of 100, whereas life expectancy in some impoverished countries is little more than 50.
One of the main reasons that the life expectancy has increased worldwide is the development of
medicine. The chance that a Baby died at an early age was higher 100 years ago than today, because we have invented vaccinations which can prevent becoming diseases.
Another reason is the improved hygienic and the food. Better hygiene means less infections, which causes less deaths. Better foot (nutrients) mean that the antibodies are more developed to prevent infections.

This chart shows how the average life expectancy has increased worldwide starting from 1840. In developing countries the graph would look like this:
This chart shows, that also in developing countries the life expectancy has increased over the past 60 years. They are catching up in comparison to the industrial countries. In continents, such as in Africa for example, there are still some countries (Congo), where the life expectancy is by far lower than the average.
